Nancy Constable has 19 years post-secondary experience, with 11 years as the Director, Safety, Security and Risk Management at Douglas College. In this leadership role, Nancy was Chair of the Threat Assessment Team and Vice-Chair of the Behaviour Intervention Team, Chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Working Group, and a member of the College’s COVID-19 Pandemic Response Team. Nancy is passionate about risk management to create a safe and secure working and learning environment and has collaboratively developed policy, procedure, and protocols for: campus threat assessment teams; violence prevention including annual lockdown drills; student non-academic misconduct; student off-campus activity risk management; enterprise risk management; occupational health and safety; emergency management and business continuity.

Since 2020, Nancy has provided risk management consulting services to the post-secondary sector.
